In the new trailer for Bridge of Spies, Tom Hanks is described as “Standing Man” to emphasize the fact that he stands up for his beliefs.
Directed by Steven Spielberg, the thriller centers on the true story of a Cold War-era spy swap, with Hanks starring as the lawyer negotiating the trade and Tony winner Mark Rylance appearing as the Soviet agent who’s traded for a U.S. pilot.
Bridge of Spies will be released in theaters on October 16, 2015.
