‘The Look of Silence’ and ‘Spotlight’ nominated for Gotham Awards

Tom McCarthy’s Spotlight received nominations for Best Feature and Best Screenplay (Tom McCarthy and Josh Singer).

The Best Actor/Best Actress nominating panel also voted to award a special Gotham Jury Award jointly to Mark Ruffalo, Michael Keaton, Rachel McAdams, Liev Schreiber, John Slattery, Stanley Tucci and Brian D’Arcy James for their ensemble work in Spotlight.

Joshua Oppenheimer’s The Look of Silence was nominated for Best Documentary.

Presented by the Independent Film Project (IFP), the Gotham Awards ceremony is set for November 30 in New York City.
