‘The First Wave’ Wins Three News and Documentary Emmy Awards
Congratulations to the team behind The First Wave for THREE wins at the News and Documentary Emmy Awards last night!
The documentary from Matt Heineman took home the Best Documentary, Outstanding Cinematography, and Outstanding Editing trophies in the second night of ceremonies.
The First Wave came out in 2021, spotlighting frontline medical workers inside one of New York’s hardest hit hospital systems during the terrifying first four months of the pandemic.
