Pivot Shows Receive 2 GLAAD Media Award Nominations and an Australian Academy Award

The 25th annual GLAAD Media Award nominations were announced this morning and with Pivot shows receiving two: The “Modern Family Values” episode of Raising McCain has been nominated for Outstanding Talk Show Episode and Please Like Me has been nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series alongside Glee, Modern Family, Orange is the New Black and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. The winners will be announced on April 12.

Please Like Me was also recognized by the Australian Academy Awards last night winning the TV Best Comedy or Light Entertainment category.
