Pivot Now Available In All RCN Markets

NEW YORK (December 19, 2014) – Participant Media’s television network Pivot today announced that it’s now available in all RCN markets. Offering a diverse slate of programming including the Emmy® Award-winning series HITRECORD ON TV starring, created and directed by Joseph Gordon-Levittand Please Like Me created by Josh Thomas. On December 16, Pivot launched in Pennsylvania, Illinois and Washington D.C. markets to complete roll out to RCN subscribers as part of RCN’s Digital Cable TV Premiere Movies & Entertainment Tier.

Pivot is also expanding the availability of its authenticated App to all RCN customers to ensure they can watch their favorite series, documentary or movie on the network anytime and anywhere. And Pivot TV’s on demand programming will be available to RCN customers.

In January 2015, Pivot launches the anticipated drama series Fortitude starring Stanley Tucci (The Hunger Games), and Michael Gambon (Harry Potter). The network, which launched in 2013, focuses on entertainment that sparks conversation and inspires change through a compelling mix of original programming, popular movies and documentaries. Its affiliated website TakePart.com presents in-depth stories and information that encourages audiences to go deeper into issues and take action.

Pivot is available to current and new RCN Digital TV subscribers on the Premiere Movies and Entertainment Tier, SD channel 114 and HD channel 552 in most areas (SD channel 143 and HD channel 1143 in Lehigh Valley, PA).
