Participant Extends Multi-Year Outpot Deal With Nordsik Film Distribution

Cannes, France (16 May, 2019) – Building on a banner year at the local box office, Participant Media, the leading media company dedicated to entertainment that inspires audiences to engage in positive social action, has extended its multi-year output agreement with Nordisk Film Distribution for its films produced via Amblin Partners. The deal covers the Scandinavian territories of Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland.

 

The renewed output deal includes the Untitled Todd Haynes Project, starring Mark Ruffalo and Anne Hathaway, inspired by the DuPont environmental law suit, as well as several Amblin titles yet to be announced.

Nordisk Film and Participant Media have had a strong relationship for years, working together on numerous recent releases, including WonderOn the Basis of Sex, and Academy Award®Best Picture winner Green Book, which has grossed more than $10.7 million in Scandinavia, becoming the highest-grossing Participant release by Nordisk in those territories.
