Jeff Skoll Award in Impact Media at TIFF 2021 to be Awarded to Alanis Obomsawin

Announced today in partnership with the Toronto International Film Festival, the third honoree of the Jeff Skoll Award in Impact Media will be given to documentarian Alanis Obomsawin.

As one of the most acclaimed Indigenous directors in the world, Obomsawin has created stories since 1967 that focus primarily on First Nations issues. Obomsawin is a member of the Abenaki Nation.
