‘Costa Brava, Lebanon’ Accepted into Venice Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival

This week it was announced that Costa Brava, Lebanon has been accepted into two prestigious film festivals this fall, both the Toronto International Film Festival and the Venice Film Festival.

Costa Brava, Lebanon is the directorial debut for Lebanese filmmaker Mounia Akl, co-written with Spanish filmmaker Clara Roquet, with Lebanese and Palestinian lead actors Nadine Labaki and Saleh Bakri, rounded out by an American-German-Qatari co-producing team.
