At the age of 84, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg (1933 – 2020) developed a breathtaking legal legacy while becoming an unexpected pop culture icon. But without a definitive Ginsburg biography, the unique personal journey of this diminutive, quiet warrior’s rise to the nation’s highest court has been largely unknown, even to some of her biggest fans – until now. RBG is a revelatory documentary exploring Ginsburg ‘s exceptional life and career from Betsy West and Julie Cohen, and co-produced by Storyville Films and CNN Films.

RBG screened in 151 North American markets, grossing more than $14M domestically.

The  campaign showcased the inspirational leadership of Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the need for gender equality in the workplace and beyond. Together with partners we built 73 private screenings in nearly 50 U.S. markets, engaging more than 500 institutions, including national law firms, professional women’s organizations, major corporations, and the ACLU. The campaign leveraged the cultural moment created by the film’s release to create and proliferate recognizable imagery centered on RBG and the film and gave partner organizations an audience and the tools to reach and engage supporters and donors.

The film was nominated for two Academy Awards® and won a Primetime Emmy®.
