The Hollywood Reporter premiered an exclusive video from Pivot’s “Human Resources.”
By Aaron Couch The Hollywood Reporter – June 26, 2014
The docuseries centers on the socially conscious company TerraCycle and its quirky employees. Get ready to step inside a very different type of office when Pivot’s comedic docuseries Human Resources launches. The show centers on TerraCycle, and looks at both the company’s social mission – to eliminate trash – as well as the humorous interactions among its staff. “We have an incredibly lively group of people here,” TerraCycle head Tom Szaky tells The Hollywood Reporter. He adds that though cameras chronicled the happenings at his company, his employees were still hard at work: “There are no actors, everybody has to do their regular job.” Szaky’s company takes things otherwise bound for the landfill and transforms them into things of use. The company is based in Trenton, New Jersey, and boasts 26 offices worldwide. For an exclusive look at the series, check out the video at the top of the post. How will the TerraCycle employees celebrate their newfound TV stardom? “We’re going to have a party for the premiere,” says Szaky. Human Resources premieres Aug. 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Pivot.
