National Society of Film Critics Names 'Spotlight' Best Picture

Participant Media films won three National Society of Film Critics (NSFC) awards. Spotlight won for Best Picture and Best Screenplay (Tom McCarthy and Josh Singer). 

Mark Rylance was named Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Bridge of Spies

The NSFC hands out at least eight major awards per year, with the possibility of winners in additonal categories if the society deems it necessary to expand the list.
